Today I have butterflies in my stomach

I wanted to post a cutie pa-tootie photo of someone biting their nails because of nerves but instead I found this.
It's a fairly good representation of how I'm feeling - right now.
I'm nervous about this weekend's coming show. I'm presenting my work at a condominium in downtown Minneapolis.
OK, so my friend says she's invited Oprah and her BF Gail. And, the building is right across the street from Al Frankin's condo. So, while the shots are quite long... a celebrity could show up!
Of course, I highly doubt this could possibly occur, it still makes me a uneasy because this feels a little like I'm getting a smidge closer to the big time with my art.
Of course, I think all artists secretly wish someone would come along and just sweep them off their paint sets and buy all their work.
And, all their future work.
So, why the nerves? Who knows. Maybe it's all because I don't have a decent pair of pantyhose in my drawer to wear with the dress I've picked out for the event.

Thanks for stopping in to my site!

My B.I.L. lived in Minneapolis for a few years and we visited and loved it! very hip city.

Do you have a site for your work?

I found it below.
The SITS girls (Tiffany and Heather) have quite a network. You should do a giveaway for some holiday cards or something. It would drive a lot of traffic to the site and hopefully some sales!!

(just a thought)

First: LOVE the picture!

Second: So excited for you! how cool would it be if Oprah showed up? OMG I'm getting nervous/excited just thinking about it :)

And...loved your PIF story...you must be a super great person :) You probably made that woman's year. Sounds like she is really going through a rough spot!

Glad we are now bloggy buddies :)
