Cancer Sucks

Yesterday a co-worker shared that her brother was just diagnosed with cancer.  She tearfully shared this with her team because she could use the support.  I adore this girl and cried right along with her.

Today, I read my blogger friend Jason’s blog and he’s walking the the Komen 3-day this month in San Diego with his team “Safe at Second Base”.  He’s carrying names of survivors and victims next to his heart while he walks his 60 miles for a cure.

About 9 years ago I lost a friend to breast cancer.  Jo, I miss you.

Kelley doesn’t know this yet, but in the new year I plan to work harder at getting the word out about Cards by Amy’s Angels.  This is my year to do more.

Please visit Card’s by Amy’s Angels at the button up top or the link earlier in this sentence!  And please share it with everyone you know.  These are absolutely free!  We send our love in those cards, along with prayers and smiles.

Jason, as himself said...

Thank you for the mention here. The walk was fabulous, I can't say enough about it nor can I stop thinking about it!

xoxo
