I'm not even Catholic!

"Tis the season to be giving... and it's a hard season to do so.

I know, I know... the economy, gas prices, and being a foodie doesn't help. I like good, fresh food and that's not cheap either!

This year I've re-focused priorities and am working with some friends who donate to a certain charity. It's Cards by Amy's angels. You've seen them featured here before... oh, and simply click on the button to the right for more information.

So, I ask you, why do I feel so damn guilty when I walk past 4 red kettles when I walk to and from work each day?

Yes, 4.

There they are, the bell ringers all bundled up (15 degrees this morning in Minnesota) and shaking that little bell, peering out from under giant stocking caps and scarves wrapped around their heads with those little puppy-dog eyes saying "Good Morning!"

And, there I am, walking by, trying not to feel guilty for not giving something each time I rush by... but I do.

I can't help it.

I'm not even catholic... I don't have the guilt gene!

Just for the record - and if anyone in the Universe is listening... I'd make a really really good millionaire!
